Overview
About Me
Student at the University of Illinois, studying electrical engineering + music performance on classical bass. I grew up in Wheaton, IL.
College is keeping me busy these days, but when I'm not studying I enjoy going to all kinds of concerts, hiking and camping, running, and just hanging out with people. For the past two summers, I've been building synthesizers with a professor. I'm always trying to find time to read, plan some kind of trip, or learn something new. Very excited to be visiting Berlin and Lisbon in May! Vegetarian since 2016.
PLEASE tell about what music you like!
Fully vaccinated + boosted, happy to wear a mask indoors whenever

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I'm generally into electronic (house, techno, et al.) and classical (baroque, postmodern, contemporary) as genres, but I try to listen to as wide a range as I can. Some of my favorite artists - though it's really hard for me to pick! - are Laurie Anderson, Holly Herndon, Arthur Russell, Moondog, Charli xcx, and Bach.
Movies/TV: Just watched Sorry to Bother You and really enjoyed it! Also I'm terminally awaiting the next episode of Only Murders in the Building.
Books: Ursula K Le Guin, Nabokov, The Overstory, Beloved, The Three-Body Problem
Podcasts: At the gym I listen to Stuff You Should Know, The Moth, and New Models.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
