Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A very old buddy of mine introduced me to Couchsurfing the last time he was through town, crashing on my couch, no less. I thought it was a great concept.

Interests

I love the outdoors and animals. I used to guide whitewater and rock climbing trips. I like the idea of living on a farm. But, I'm intrigued by people and cities. My favorite cities are New York, Istanbul and Valparaiso...in that order. My favorite woods are Cumberland Island, GA Torres del Paine, patagonia and Playa Britannia, Nicaragua.

What I Can Share with Hosts

People generally enjoy talking with me, I enjoy talking with people and meeting new folks. I've got some pretty wild stories from the travel and adventure of my past, can def guarantee some laughs. But I always try to maintain a keen, hopeful eye towards the future, and like to think this is contagious. I tend to give unique, straightforward advice. Oh, and I can teach ya how to throw tomahawks!
