im a good listener and can get along with anyone. i find everyone interesting, if they will give me the chance to be interested.

i'm trying to live life my own way, which turns out to be a bit different than the average American.

i like to mess around and get in trouble, but i also can be pretty laid back. i also dont like talking about myself so much, not because i have anything to hide, but because it seems strange to say good things about myself. id rather meet someone and have them make a decision based on that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am joining based on several friends' recommendations. I am about to go to europe for the first time, and thought i might try to meet people this way. Not sure how in need I will be of a place to stay, but either way I still enjoy meeting new people.

Interests

i love being in the mountains and outdoors in the region where I grew up, the pacific northwest of the united states. my employment is in engineering and science but i also enjoy (and make) art and music. i play soccer and i ride a bike everywhere. i like to find hot springs and secret swimming holes. i travel around a lot. in the US ive been riding freight trains on and off for many years.
