Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I once did a charity hitchhike to Morroco from Leeds and met a few people who had used coachsurfing. Hitchhiking was a fantastic way to meet the locals and really get to know a country and its language and culture. For some reason coachsurfing has not occurred to me again until recently when I booked a flight to LA. The flight had a one night, one day stopover in Iceland and in such a short space of time I figured it would make sense to try to intensify the experience by staying with a host!
