I am an aspiring doctor living in Chicago, IL, USA and will be attending medical school here in starting in August 2016. Currently I work in a hospital as a phlebotomist, drawing blood from outpatients and inpatients for a living, a job I truly love, and it fits with my goal of being a pediatrician. I love adventure and the outdoors, and love trying new things and learning and experiencing everything life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As medical school looms in my future, I want to allow myself as many opportunities to explore the world as I can. I have plans to hike Mt. Whitney, and go on a six-week trip to Europe with my friend from college. We are both part of a charity that means a lot to us, and are looking forward to expanding our cultural horizons and meeting amazing people. At the same time, I live in a world-class city, and would love to be able to share my city and all it has to offer to other, similarly minded people.
