I'm an exchange student from England, studying at Monash University, Melbourne, until July. I am currently on a summer break until late February.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I'm on my summer break, I'm looking to meet lots of locals and explore lots of new places from a different perspective while also saving some money. I can't wait to meet all the wonderful people on my journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I was made to choose, my favourite movies are American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, and Airplane, although I'm sure there are lots of others that I can't quite remember.
My favourite book is Life of Pi, although I'm currently reading On the Road by Jack Kerouac which is amazing so far!
I'm very open minded with music, but prefer old rock like David Bowie or the Rolling Stones although some of my favourite bands at the moment are Tame Impala, Kasabian, as well as lots of modern 'alternative' and a bit indie music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing is probably doing a 4 day sailing race from Stavanger in Norway to Halmstat in Sweden.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there are any odd jobs that need doing such as gardening or housework, I would be more than happy to take them up. I would love to share my knowledge with my hosts although it's probably severely lacking in a lot of areas! I would just love to share my host's company and get to know them and hopefully they would enjoy getting to know me at the same time.
