ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors and just about any activities therein. Kayaking, scuba diving, hiking, camping, climbing, mountain biking, etc, etc. I also love Architecture (I should...it's what I'm going to be doing for a large portion of my life!) I want to see the parts of the world I haven't seen yet, hear the stories of the people there, and learn as much as I can about the world around me. I love travel and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

People are innately good and deserve to be treated with love and respect. As Bill and Ted (movie: 'Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey' and 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure') say, "Be excellent to each other!"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've lived in Japan, studied abroad in Denmark, and am now living in the US. I'd like to hopefully surf some sofas of a few hospitable hosts while abroad and then eventually offer my place as somewhere to stay when I'm out of college.

Too many to list, but in general, I love comedies for movies. Also, I'm a bit of a nerd/ geek, so I also love some Science Fiction movies, as well as Fantasy (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Neverending Story, etc.)

Books: Fahrenheit 451, Anthem, Atlas Shrugged, 1984, Harry Potter, The Dragonlance Saga, Frankenstein, Crime and Punishment, etc.

Music: Relient K, Five Iron Frenzy, Boys Like Girls, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Cartel, Jack Johnson, etc. I like to listen to music in general, but I'm not a big fan of Country, crazy Metal bands, or ignorant/ pointless Rap (I do like Black Eyed Peas and some others though).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing huh?....well, I grew up in Japan and lived/ went to school with Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, American, Guamanian, African, etc. kids. I guess you could say that growing up in a place where I was the minority really affected my outlook on life and on meeting other people.

Teach: I love computers and technology. Chances are, if you have a question about one of those, I can answer it. I'm also a student of Architecture and would love to talk to you about it!

Learn: I'd love to learn other languages (right now I only know English and Spanish). I'd also like to learn how to breath underwater, how to travel through time, and how to fly without machinery. (let me know if you have any leads).
