CURRENT MISSION

I am going to Madrid to do a specialization in dance that I need before the summer. It's only a few hours a week and I am looking for hosts that are willing to show me a "real" side of Madrid, besides tapas and paella. I plan to stay around here until march 2019. So far I really like what I see, and I would like it even more if I could step in the real life around here by doing couchsurfing.

Used to be a language teacher, then a webmaster and now a contemporary dancer.
I´m a passionate traveler, always looking for something fun and original to do. I love learning languages, travelling, discovering anything and meeting people. I can be shy sometimes but I'm very joyful!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

AS A SURFER:
I bring joy and smiles to your homes, I am very respectful of the culture and environment and of your home. I won't make any noise if you wake up early to go to work, I'll adapt to your timetable. I respect if the host doesn't feel like showing me around, and I'll do it by myself if so, so long as we get to share a few moments during my stay :)
Just so you know, I am INCREDIBLY BAD at writing about myself, and writing CS requests. All I want to say is that if I am writing to you, it's because I have read all your profile and think we can get along. I never EVER send requests out of the blue.

AS A HOST:
I promise a warm welcome, nice chats, probably beers, tours of the city I am living in if you feel like it.
If I am hosting you it's because I am working somewhere in the world, but I'll always manage to make some free time for my surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted quite a few times in Canada in 2012, and countless times since then. I realized that what's important for me when we travel is to meet people, they're my best memories.

PLEASE READ:
I like Couchsurfing for the human experience, I do not believe or use Couchsurfing just because it gives you a free bed. I get a lot (really, a lot) of requests by empty profiles or copy/paste messages. That's such a shame... and I don't bother answering those messages.

Well, I could make a list but really it would take off all the fun :).
All I can say is that I am curious about everything and love to have a good laugh... I love music, sports, writing and anything around it.

Movies: Babel, Star Wars, Marie Antoinette, Lost in Translation, all Tim Burton's movies, I'm a huge fan!
Music: any kind of music. I think there's a song for every moment of the day, it just depends on the mood you're in.
Books: long long list... just anything that's not science fiction or social/political.
