ABOUT ME

I am super new to couchsurfing and am still figuring things out!! I am a student at the University of Washington in Seattle and a lover of learning. I study the Comparative History of Ideas, with a minor in Political Science and History. CHID is an interdisciplinary major only offered at the UW, and I LOVE it. I am an avid Ultimate Frisbee player, I play for the women's team at UW (element ultimate) and am honored to have been nominated as captain for the 2014/2015 season. Ultimate means so very much to me, as a sport, a group of people, and a learning experience. It has helped me through tough times and has taught me so many things about teamwork, family, and positivity. I love explaining how the sport works so if you have never heard of it, let me know and I'll fill you in on the raddest sport in the world!
I am adventurous and a fast learner. I love talking politics and philosophy and I am ready for anything!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I fell out of touch with the couch surfing community for a while and have racked up some requests which, unfortunately, I did not respond to (hence the 33% response rate) I am working on getting more involved and on improving my couchsurfing capabilities as I am still very new and figuring this out. Any and all advice is appreciated!
I am currently staying with my family in France and am looking to couchsurf a but during my stay in Europe. Back home in Seattle I live in a large apartment with lots of extra space and would love to host some surfers when I return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am very new to couchsurfing, I have had a few surfers stay with my at my apartment (my roommate is an avid couchsurfer) but am still getting used to the website and the messaging system.

As I stated above, I love to play Ultimate Frisbee. I also love to climb, backpack, swim, hike, be outside in general. On calmer days I like to hunker down with a good book and some chocolate (Pride and Prejudice and any Harry Potter are my go-to's) I love to sing, and I sing a lot.
