I'm a Brasilian American who grew up in Florida soaking up that tropic sun. By the time I turned 18 I decided to drive cross-country to move to Los Angeles, CA to see what the West Coast had in store. I made that trip with my first ex-husband, a dog, and two cats; when I got here I knew this place was more suited for me.
A few years later: I'm a mom to an awesome little girl. She's my inspiration for everything I've accomplished, including returning to get an education after dropping out of high-school at the age of 16.
We just moved up to the Bay Area so that I could transfer to UC Berkeley, which has been yet another life change. The atmosphere up here is warm and we're enjoying the Northern Cali beauty. I'm currently declared as an Astrophysics major at UCB, but am in between deciding on a different major. We'll see where the wind takes us!

I'm that kind of person that will talk to anybody, for any reason. I make friends with people I pass on the street, strike up random conversation, and treat others with kindness and respect. It comes naturally to me, and I think Couchsurfing will be an awesome way to connect with others who are like-minded.

兴趣

The logical side of me is interested in things like math and puzzles. Meanwhile the nature loving side of me could just live in the forest forever (Redwoods are my favorite!). I love animals, swimming, hiking, and am really up for most anything.
Most of all though, I love driving. Road trips are one of my favorite things to do, and the more remote the location the better.

I like a huge variety of music, spanning from classical music to classic rock to heavy metal and reggae. As long as it's from the soul it's sure to be good.
Film wise, Tarantino is great.
Books range from Harry Potter to Siddhartha, I love reading a good book!
