Hello everybody!
My name is Camilla, I come from a small town in the north of Italy called Montecchio Precalcino, very close to Vicenza but I'm currently living in London,UK.
I’m graduating in languages and cultures for international trade at the university of Verona, I’m studying English and Chinese.
I love reading and writing, one of my biggest dreams is to become a journalist and write a book.
I grew up outside, playing on the streets with my brother and other friends of my neighborhood where, for example, with a little imagination, a flowerbed turned out to be a pirate ship. We spent whole days playing hide and seek, riding our bikes and creating explorer spyglasses with rolls of toilet paper. For these reasons I strongly believe in the power of imagination and creativity especially during childhood and I want children to develop this two characteristics, not let them being destroyed by the use (or better, abuse) of technologies such as phones or tablets.
Since I was a child, I have been used to traveling a lot. My parents through all the journeys we had the chance to do taught me to be open to what is new, to what is different. They taught me to be curious, to ask myself WHY. They have accustomed me to the sound of other languages and to the taste of more or less spicy foods or more or less tasty foods. But above all, they completely eradicated from me the idea that the concept of home can be reduced to four walls. Like when you are in kindergarten and you are told to represent your home and draw a yellow square with a red triangle on it. I really consider myself an open minded girl.
I love being surrounded by people but I also learnt how beautiful is to take some time for ourselves, for this reasons I like travelling alone together with my orange backpack ;)
My biggest passion is the theatre, more specifically, the musical. I did a theatre course for six years and then change to enter in a musical academy where I had acting, singing and dancing (modern, ballet and tip tap) classes.
Since 2015 every summer I spend three month in a resort where I'm a member of the mini club staff.

My favourite band is Green day since when I was 9 years old. (My big brother influence ;))
My favourite movies are Life is beautiful by Roberto benigni and Into the wild by Sean Penn.
My favourite books are A thousand splendid suns, Into the wild and On the road but I really love reading every genre.
Oh, I nearly forgot. I'm also a Nicholas Sparks's true fan... I'm in love with romantic love stories!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I turned 18 I wanted to do something that I would never forget.. so I ate an entire bowl of 10 cucumbers.
I couldn't even see a cucumber for the next 4 years. Now (I'm nearly 23) I'm starting again to eat them.
