ABOUT ME

I was born to travel! I grew up in a hostel run by my parents. My favorite part about it was listening to travelers tell their stories about world adventures and from an early age I knew that I wanted to go 'everywhere.'

I've travelled the world extensively, and am in general a very passionate (and lucky!) person. I enjoy lunging at life!

I'm interested in being an active member of this community.

I want to explore the world with members, as well as show others the best of where I call home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been both the provider and recipient of impromptu hospitality long before I discovered this website. I started hosting parties as a teenager and have continued to hone my hosting skills ever since.

Also, my experiences in hosting are what make me a good guest :)

Besides travel, I am also enthusiastic about books, people, and beaches.

The book that has had the most impact on me is Ayn Rand's 'Atlas Shrugged.'

Human connections are one of my needs, like food and sleep.

My favorite beach is Yokohama beach park on the west side of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.

Other interests that capture my time include: cooking, chess, boxing, swimming, hiking, drawing, writing, music, dancing and photography.

I once played with a live lava flow on the big island of Hawai'i.

I speak Tagalog and English fluently, and am confident I can teach others the basics. I swam compteitively for 10 years and have taught everything from basic treading water to improving their strokes. I can also cook more than a dozen dishes and can show anyone interested some recipes.
My 2 year goal is to learn how to speak fluent Spanish and I look forward to the opportunity to practice what I know and learn more!
