HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well i have only very recently joined so am still unsure of how I will participate other than stay on couches and have people stay with me when I am back home.. but will think this one through a bit more.

I have not had any couch surfing experiences yet.

Interests

people! cultures, food, outdoors, nature/our environment, health (especially alternative health/or using health practices to become more self-aware),running/walking (especially in the New Zealand bush or on a beach) yoga, dance.. or just generally keeping active. Music and festivals, snow boarding, taking photos (a new interest)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost any music that complements my mood but really appreciate good skill either on the decks on live instruments. I love to hear it live. Not much pop tho. umm... DJ Calibre, LTJ Bukem, DJ D-Bridge, Upbeats, Shapeshifter, Infected mushroom, Klute, Aphex twins, Truth, Charlie Mingus, Manu Chao, Louis Prima, Queen Omega, Dub FX, Heidi Talbot, Lissie, Cat Stevens, Herbie hancock, Peruquois, Erykah Badu, Salmonella Dub, US3, Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5, Tribe called Quest, Hi-tek, Afro-Cuban All Stars, Rokia Traore, Rage against the machine, Bjork, Cinematic Orchestra, Roots Manuva, Edward Elgar, to name a few favorites.

books..love fantasy! otherwise i end up reading health related stuff (maybe seem tiresome but i do love what i study). Oh.. The Red Tent by Anita Diamant is great!

I can teach some body work techniques, as well as Ayurvedic philosophies and practices.
