Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Camille, I am a young French student from Bordeaux, which is really a very nice place to live in.
I was bitten by the travel bug when I came to study a year in India... and since then I just can't help travelling by all means when I have holidays. I spend all my working time planning my next trips! I am a backpacker, travelling solo or with friends. I always have with me my camera, taking pictures of everything.
I have planned an interrail trip for July, and I'm going to Potugal in August. Then, I am longing to visit the south of Africa, central Asia (the -stan countries and Iran), Latin America and New Zealand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is a great way to travel and meet people who can show you the real life in the country and spend good time. Cultural exchange is something very important to me, I love speaking languages and understanding other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I consider myself to be eclectic. I really love rock music and jazz, but I also listen a lot of metal, reggae, classical music, folk and some rap. But to be more concrete, let's give,a few names: Arctic Monkeys, Iron Maiden, Nina Simone, IAMX or Halestorm, David Bowie.
I've always read a lot, especially American literature (Steinbeck, Irving, Harrison, Banks etc) and Asian (Murikami, Rohinton Mistry) and, of course, French.
I don't know as much about movies, but I really like Wes Anderson and Benedict Cumberbatch. Especially Benedict.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've smoked chilum (you know, this kind of pipe in stone) with a few sadhus in Varanasi and drank chai. An incredible time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am young but I love travelling and I'd be glad to share memories and tips!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good time! I am very respectful and easy to live with, open-minded, and I can cook french and indian food, which is really important isn't it? ;) Plus, I'm always up for a beer, a good glass of wine or grab a bite!
