Hi ! I'm Camille, I'm a french student always looking foward to discover new places and meeting new people.

I'm a student in political sciences, although my true passion is art, especially theatre, music and dance. I did several internships in theatres in my city, Lyon, to get closer from working in one. I'm also a comedian, a director, and sometimes a model !

I love to travel and had the chance to start doing it when I was very very young. I've always loved to meet people abroad, but as I'm an only child, it was more difficult. My only hope is to be able to fix it now that I'm older !

I travel with my boyfried, Mathis, who's studying in the same school as I do. This year, we've been together to London and Barcelona, while I've also been to Firenze and Amsterdam. We were hoping to plan a "train trip" through several italian cities. I am litteraly in love with Italy, my father being italian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always managed to get hosted by my friends abroad, or with AirBnbs and stuff, but my tour of Italian cities with my boyfriend would be so much fun if we had the opportunity to actually meet local people. That's why I decided this year to try Couchsurfing, hoping it will help me with this !

Interests

I already said most of it, but I'm a real theater lover. To give you an idea, I've been to 35 plays this year...I especially love contemporary theater. I also love dance, I've been doing Hip Hop for 3 years and Contemporary for 2 years.
I'm also really interested in music, and took singing classes for 6 years, and guitar classes for 4 years. I listen to a lot of different music styles, with a real love for jazz and french music in general (Eddy de Pretto, Pomme, Eugenie, Dyade, Tim Dup, Juliette Armanet...). Most of my friends are actually professional musicians
I also do a bit of photography (lomo), and I'm a model.
And finally, to be even more cliche, I really love books. Like, really really much.

One of my favorite books of all times is Oona and Salinger, by Beigbeder. Can't really tell you more, except : please read it, it's amazing.

Cutting my hair short. Sounds dumb, but it was quite something. If we ever get to meet, I shall tell you, this is not that much interesting, but rather funny.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could bring you croissants. Or baguette. Or french books. Or a lot of french music. Or discuss with you about pretty much everything. It all depends on what you want !
