ABOUT ME

(updated 2014) I would describe myself as a kind, loving, adventurous, and thoughtful person who just wants to make these next two and a half months around Europe really count! I realize that at two and a half months I am considered more-so to be a tourist in these amazing lands. However, I want to be a tourist with the eye of an everyday anthropologist. I want to learn and I'm ready to be taught! So let the fun and adventures begin :)

Generally, friends would also say I'm: energetic, inquisitive (sometimes I get on a roll asking lots of questions; it's not the third degree, I'm just really interested and love a deeper understanding!), warm/hospitable

PHILOSOPHY

On one hand, I live my life to learn, love, and be the best version of myself for my sisters, family, and friends. If I can impact my immediate circle, I believe that positive energy will trickle out into the world. On the other hand, I choose to always live my life critically so that I understand how best to be a contributing global citizen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

(updated 2014) I am absolutely new to Couchsurfing. My upcoming trip to Europe will be my first experience with it! I am very excited to update this portion of my profile along the way.

Interessen

(updated 2014) I can't tell if my profile mission statement is showing so I'll repeat this here for good measure: "Current Mission: From Paris, France to Dublin, Ireland, I'll spend two and a half months eating, singing, laughing, learning, and loving my way to a new perspective on life as a recent post-grad."

Additionally, I love especially love exploring and experiencing food, art, history, music, and meeting new people!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

1) Watching my family (Dad, 1 brother, 2 sisters) rebuild itself in the last two years after our mother passed away. They're a strong, loving bunch and it's been amazing and awe inspiring to see my family come together the way we have!

2) Sunset kayak trip around the walls of Dubrovnik. Just beautiful and serene. Also, I love the show Game of Thrones so that was a special fangirl moment.

3) Meeting everyone that I have this first month of my trip!
