Couchsurfing might just be a new adventure!

I've travelled a lot staying at hostels and also hitch hiking and staying at people's places met during my rides. The generosity and enthusiasm of my hosts and rides have always amazed and moved me. Short and improvised encounters have often turned out to be enriching and surprising. I believe that one does not couch surf, or host, or hitch hike or pick up hitch hikers if they don't like a bit of adventure, challenge and if they don't enjoy sharing time with others.

I studied literature so I won't start listing up my favourite books ... I do have a few reading habits though: I read several books at the same time; I'm a slow reader (not always helping while I was studying); I often do not finish my books but stop a few pages before the end (usually about 20/50 pages depending on the length of the book).
Why do I not finish the books I read? I guess because reading is a journey and I don't consume books like products and I also don't aim at having read all the literature there is and reading all the last best sellers and all the classics ... I just read whatever I enjoy and I enjoy the journey of reading for the sake of reading. I have not read Harry Potter.
As for music ... sometimes I feel uncomfortable around people who (seem) to know tons about music and who have an idea of which music is cool and which music isn't cool. I just listent to whatever makes me feel good but I do have a preference for rather melancholic music in the genre of trip hop, electro/house/dance all mixed together with a little bit of baroque pop... Or more jovial sounds, like classic jazz, gypsie jazz and guitare, French variety songs, ...
