CURRENT MISSION

Do the best I can, fighting for my values/ideas. I also try to have a low impact in my everyday life which has lead me to a farming life, and I also spend some time to help people as much as i can.

ABOUT ME

I am deeply curious and interested in learning about life and people. I love hiking, picking up wild plants, travelling, tasting new things and meeting people. I think we have so much to learn from each others. I am very much into farming and I would like to go round the world from farm to farm with my backpack to get to know more about agriculture in different places and meet farmers from all over the world. I live in a community so I appreciate to be surrounded as much as spending some time one my own.

PHILOSOPHY

I really enjoy taking life as it comes to me, living from day to day. I also have very strong values for which I fight for in my everyday life through militantism and my way of life. It is very important to me to defend another way of life away from consumerism, capitalism and patriarchy. I believe in a real change of society toward more justice, solidarity, equity and respect, closer to nature and human beings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is an amazing network of open-minded people and a great opportunity for all of us to meet, share some good time all together and maybe, from our scale, make the world a better place to live. Sharing life in peace.

Music: I really like rap music but also enjoy so many styles, from reggae to blues, rock'n'roll, hip hop, jazz, electronic... I really like to discover some new bands/songs/styles.
Books: Un bucher sous la neige, Les orageuses, Circé, Luis Sepulveda, L'Alchimiste (Paulo Coelho), Into the Wild, and many other travellers' stories

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending 2 days cleaning a elk squeleton found in the forest, swimming in a frozen lake without sauna, sleeping in a tent during winter in Finland, going for a 10 days skiing trip in finnish lapland, eating only from dumpster diving in Norway...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really interested in learning more about organic farming, sustainable agri-food systems, permaculture and other alternative ways of life. And I would be happy to discuss about it and share my knowledge. I've sailed a little but I would love to learn more about it. I also like to share cooking time. I've done some metalworking so if you have things to solder, mill or drill I'd be happy to help!
