About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Life inspector

PHILOSOPHY

That some people live more in one year than others do in their entire life.

Generally I believe that it's important to follow your dreams and live in the moment. Not that I do this all the time, but I try my best to make the most of what I have.

When I was a teenager I adopted a philosophy where I questioned myself at the end of every day asking, "Would I be happy to die today?" and what I found was that to begin with my answer was a resounding "no", because I hadn't yet done all the things I wanted to do in life. As time passed I found that my appreciation for what the day had brought me grew and rather than living in regret for the major things I hadn't done, I started to live to enjoy the smaller things I had, the people I'd met, the things I'd learned...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through talking about it incessantly to my friends..

Both the Basingstoke & Epsom CouchSurfing Group were setup so that residents no longer have to rely on neighbouring town/city groups. They've amassed approximately 50 combined members.

Advertised the Facebook CS group to my friends and family.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learnt that Vodka Redbull and Guinness mixed is digusting, Tequila and Guinness is a slight improvement and vodka shots with a dash of fruit juice is passable. - thanks Jamie

Secondly that you can meet some truly amazing and inspiring people through CouchSurfing. - Evan, Colin, Tim, Chris & Munk x

How to make a paper aeroplane (apparently the most aerodynamic one possible) *update* A recent CSer proved this claim wrong by creating an even more aerodynamic paper aeroplane.

Interested in most things aside from sports (sorry if you're a sport fan, it just doesn't interest me that much) although I do want to go and see a football match some day, just probably not in England.

I'd love to hear recommendations on where to travel or listen to your personal experiences.
