ABOUT ME

Hi all, I'm Camille (or Cami, or Camila if it's easier to pronounce!), French by papers, citizen of the world by heart! I've caught the travel bug about 15years ago when I went to the US as an Exchange student, and met there amazing people from around the globe.
I'd like to have a positive impact on the world and on people around me. I'd like to make positive impacts on the places that I visit, I don't want to be the usual consuming tourist.
I'm born and raised on a Farm in the south of France, I've studied Biology and Biotechnology in the area and then I moved to Brussels and now Amsterdam for my work. I'm a nice and friendly person, I love meeting new people and exchanging about experiences and life! As I love travelling and meeting different cultures, I dive into a new language every 2/3years!! so I can say that I speak French, English, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and a bit of German!!!

Interessi

I LOVE travelling, taking pictures, cooking, reading, going to the cinema, spending tons of fun times with my friends... I always need to be doing something new and discover new things =) the curious scientist in me always needs to learn more !!
I like to make things myself, DIY is my motto!! When a friend comes up with a new project, I directly get involved and help !! In the past years I've learned drawing , sewing, I've made several leather notebook as a bookbinding project came up... what else... I very much like cooking. I love learning new recipes and fresh fruits and vegetables are my favourites!!! I also find baking super nice!!!
I'm a big nature lover and hiking is a wonderful way to immerse myself in nature! In my everyday life, I try to reduce my impact on the environment as much as possible, reducing my waste by making my own bathroom products for example, reusing and repairing instead of buying new... Eating as local and organic as possible...
Other than that I enjoy taking beautiful pictures of landscapes and people.I'm not a professional, but I can definitely take out of the ordinary pictures!!

I quit my job for 2 years to become a volunteer in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and now Myanmar!
