I'm a adventure-seeking 24 year old, bit of a nerd and artist/fashion designer by trade. Thought I would couchsurf on my next trip to Japan so I get to meet new people, learning to take life at a more relaxing pace and day to day.

After my bachelor in art history, I've taken on a new course in life and figured out I wanted to do something in the fashion industry. So I've started all over again. Fast forward a couple of years, finished school and started up my own little company selling my own handmade sweaters .

Like I said I'm quite a geeky girl. When I have some time off I'm either gaming or drawing/painting.
And also I'm an INFJ , if that tells you anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love traveling, so I end up doing a lot of citytrips in between. I prefer staying with a local over staying at a hotel. Makes traveling alone a lot more fun and exciting, meeting interesting people along the way! Also it pushes me out of my comfort zone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend a lot of my free time reading, especially fantasy novels and real classics. Trying to finish the book list the BBC (100 books you must read) put out there a few years back. I also read comics, graphic novels and manga.

Anything TV and movie related: you can give me pretty much anything to watch, just depends on the mood I'm in. So I love watching drama, horror, comedy but also cartoons (like Bob's Burgers) and anime (especially Studio Ghibli movies) . I especially love old school cartoons anything from Hanna-Barbera, old disney cartoons (like the Silly Symphonies), Tom and Jerry.

There isn't much music that I don't like so no need for summing up all the music I like. My all-time favorite stays City and Colour (Dallas Green)

And when I have some time left I like to game as well. Currently playing Overwatch a lot. Also I'm a puzzle geek. So no surprise I love the Professor Layton series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting my own business. Takes so much out of a person, but it's a crazy new ride and I'm excited to so see where it takes me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to learn as much as possible, that's for sure! I've always been eager to learn new stuff, try new things and push boundaries. Although I love to talk I like to think of myself that I'm a great listener 'cause I attach great importance to other people experiences and perspectives.

I can make some super delicious Belgian chocolate dessert , and well who doesn't love that :D
