About Me
Hello, I'm a 'young' traveller who wants to experience many things in this wonderful world.
In France, I'm a former cardiology nurse and an aspiring geologist! I've just got my master's degree and signed my PhD contract. When I travel, I just want to be a human being, to meet new people and share with them the simple things in their lives.
My last trip was Iran and it was really wonderful! I had the opportunity to share many moments of life and meet some incredible people (Masoud <3). Since then, I haven't travelled much, mainly because of my studies!
My aim is to spend a week in Lithuania before starting my research project!
Unfortunately I can't really host people at home at the moment because when I'm in Toulouse I work a lot and I don't have much time to give to potential hosts and I don't think this platform is designed to replace a hotel. If you can't share moments together, I don't think there's much point ... Nevertheless, don't hesitate to write to me, you never know when I'll be in a period full of free time!

Music, Movies, and Books
All music except metal perhaps... I particularly like classical music when I'm working. I've been trying to learn the piano for a few years now, but I'm finding it hard to keep up ... The piano is gathering dust.
As far as films are concerned, I'm not much of a cinephile, or at least I have a bad memory. The films that come to mind and that I've enjoyed :
Matrix
Django
Parasite (South Korean film)
Dune
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
As far as my reading is concerned, recently I've been reading mostly scientific articles, and I've slowed down the amount of 'pleasure' reading I've been doing.
I've really enjoyed reading books that are a bit initiatory, such as :
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
Siddharta - Hermann Hesse
The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
The Stranger - Albert Camus
A Fortune Teller Told Me - Tiziano Terzani
But most of what I read is science fiction or science fantasy
1Q84 - Haruki Murakami
The Martian Chronicles - Ray Bradbury
Flowers for Algernon - Daniel Keyes
'Hyperion' and 'Endymion' - Dan Simmons
Short stories by Ken Liu
and of course all the dystopian novels like "Brave New World" or "1984" ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met some crazy people on a crazy bus in Tabriz, Iran. It was an incredible day! But it deserves to be told over a drink, it's too precious to be told on the internet.
I visited the Taj Mahal (? :-/ does that count?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't host people very often because I live with my partner and we're already very cramped. Especially as I'm often very busy with my studies/research.
But please don't hesitate to contact me. I might be able to free up some time for a drink or a visit to the city centre!
