The first thing I'm used to say is "hairy", but maybe it will not be very helpful...
I'm (usually trying to be) a funny person, talkative.
I like to share time with people playing, trekking, organising week-ends or just chatting.
And I love to travel!
I'm not a night-club lover.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I host people, when I have a home... (who said : not often?)
I share travel stories, good jokes, good recipes, pictures, maps and out of beaten tracks places to explore.
Until 2012, I mostly hosted people in Lobito, Angola.
The persons I hosted where travellers that crossed Africa (or more), and succeed to have their entry visa... which is not so easy!
I shared as much as I can the knowledge of Angolan countryside.
I started to be a surfer in September 2012 for our long trip trough Asia.
And I continued during our African car travel, since November 2013 till September 2014.
I'm now preparing my next couch to host YOU!
Travel, by any mean.
... I prefer wheeled vehicles, sure, but I have 2 legs, and I can use them...
I'm fond of Desert, with or without sand!
And remote places.
I love exploring places where you can think you're the first person passing there.
I usually travel out of the beaten tracks.
Music, Movies, and Books
mainly Sci-Fi :
Asimov, K. Dick, and other americans writers...
And I just discovered a French one : Alain Damasio, that I would recommend.
Basically, I can read anything, I just need to take the time to do it.
Well, last time I watched a TV-screen was before your birth, and last time I went to theater... well, I don't remember.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2 days in jail in Angola... priceless : No travel agency proposed this trip!
Went in the desert, alone, stuck my car, came back walking.
It was just a 25 km trek in a sandy river bed.
Adopted the "slow traveller" attitude :
Travelled from Japan to Cambodia, spending at least one month in each country.
Travelled from Cape Town to Mombasa by car, spending 2 months in each country.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach the things I know around the place I'm living or the places I've visited.
How people are "thinking" in other culture/countries,
Where I should go and search for a job after this trip.
more about car mechanics.
Then, about Angola, show the "dark side" of the country, where you shouldn't find any foreigner.
