About Me

Hi! My name is Camila, I’m 28 years old and I’m from Argentina 🇦🇷.
Traveling is a very important part of my life — I’ve had the chance to live in 6 different countries, which has allowed me to experience many cultures, ways of thinking, and lifestyles.

I consider myself an open-minded, respectful, and curious person who enjoys meaningful conversations, sharing experiences, and learning from others. I love connecting with locals and discovering places from an authentic, non-touristic perspective.

I have several years of experience working in hospitality and customer service, so I truly value good communication, respect for shared spaces, and positive energy. I always try to be a considerate guest and leave a good impression wherever I go ✨

In my free time, I enjoy walking around the city, discovering cozy cafés, cooking (or learning new recipes), listening to music, and exchanging travel stories.

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in cultural exchange, kindness between people, and the idea that traveling is about connection, not just destinations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe traveling is about people, not just places. I love connecting with locals, sharing stories, learning from different cultures, and experiencing destinations in a more authentic way.

After living in 6 different countries, I’ve learned that the best memories usually come from simple moments: good conversations, shared meals, laughter, and cultural exchange.

I am here to meet inspiring people, exchange experiences, and create meaningful memories along the way ✨

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t think I have a favorite artist or musician, I enjoy almost any music you can hear on the radio or popular songs. The genres I listen to the most are Pop, Latin, Argentine National Rock, and Reggaeton.

I love singing out loud, even though I’m not very good at it… so I usually sing in the shower to avoid terrifying anyone 😄🚿

My favorite movies include Insidious, The Conjuring, Love, Rosie, and Frozen, as you can see, I enjoy very different genres. I’m open to watching horror, romance, comedy, or kids’ movies; I believe every film leaves you with a lesson.

I also enjoy watching series, and my favorite one is How to Get Away with Murder. If you haven’t seen it yet, you definitely should!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most incredible things I’ve done was leaving my comfort zone at 22 years old and starting to travel on my own. That decision completely changed my life.

Traveling taught me to be more independent, adaptable, and open-minded, and it allowed me to live in 6 different countries, meet amazing people, and grow both personally and culturally.

What started as a leap of faith became a lifestyle and one of the most meaningful experiences of my life

I’d love to share Argentinian culture, food, and music with my hosts. You can try mate, our most traditional drink, maybe in a park while listening to Gustavo Cerati, one of Argentina’s most legendary rock musicians 🧉
