I'm an ozzie guy that's been living in Norway for the last 10 years. I think of myself as an easy-going person and believe that everyone's opinion matters regardless of whether or not I agree.

At heart, I'm a nerd that likes to play around with electronics, computers, 3d printers, etc. At the same time I try to keep grounded by not being a stranger to fixing things or building things around the house.

Before I joined couchsurfers, I have stayed at friends places across Europe and Australia where I found it is the best way to truly experience local cultures, people and food! Being a part of couch surfing opens up to an even broader world of cultures, ideas and philosophies that everyone should have a chance to be exposed to! It's great fun to get to know others and at the same time be able to share a little bit of my own experiences.

Meeting with friends, making new friends, travelling and cooking (no, I'm not just saying that to help get a place to crash!) I'm always looking for a little advice on improving my dishes and love getting new recipes.

Hiking, kayaking, diving, skiing ... generally anything outdoors is always a great way to get out and clear the mind.

Visiting Preikestolen, rock shelf that drops 605m straight down to a Fjord. Looking over the edge provides some very good perpective on life!

I know it is suggested to say only 1 thing ... but ... working throughout the Northern Territory for 2 months, from desert to mountain ranges to croc-infested waters!
