I am 19 years old, and I play water polo for Iona College. I enjoy meeting and talking to people.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is meant to be enjoyed and explored, and if you do not allow yourself to break out and see the world, your life is not going to be as meaningful. It is moments that shape our life and we should not hesitate to take opportunities to learn.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really feel like this gives people a real opportunity to interact with the world. Travel is not just about seeing the sites, you have to meet the people who live there and really talk to them to learn the culture and that is why I have listed my couch, so that people who may be curious about Houston can learn all about it the real way.

I have not had the chance to actually use someone's couch, but a few trips are in the making.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2008 I was able to travel to Indonesia and I got to see all the temples and talk to the locals about how life is.
