我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I caught the travel bug at a young age from my parents, who always made sure we see new places from a unique perspective—we’d find ourselves off the beaten track, from fishing lodges in Alaska staying at interesting boutique hotels in Hong Kong to fly-camping on safari in Tanzania. The highlight of our trips has always been getting immersed in other cultures by meeting and spending time with the locals, enjoying the benefits of their hospitality and generosity. I try to pay it forward by hosting guests long- and short-term whenever my situation allows, but Couchsurfing seems like a brilliant way to take it to a whole new level. I’m so grateful that a platform like this exists in my lifetime, opening doors to the world like never before!
