About Me
CURRENT MISSION
kickstart my own letterpress printing company and flower farm
ABOUT ME
I am obsessed with velcro, sticky tape, the smell of laundry softener, and even when its really cold out i leave my windows open. I hate ticking clocks, I have freckles on my arm that look exactly like the constellation cassiopeia, and I break out into dance at extremely inappropriate times.
PHILOSOPHY
Nine times out of ten I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. So far it's worked out pretty well for me. Well... most of the time. I won't deny I have some crazy tales from my various adventures wandering around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After dreaming about going tiny for ten years, I finally moved into a vintage travel trailer! Now I can take my home wherever my adventures take me. As soon as the remodeling is done, it'll be open for all you couchsurfers! In the meantime, I look forward to finding and getting to know as many couch-surfers as I can from all across the world!
Interests
My goal is to learn as many languages as humanly possible, but particularly to keep up with French and Italian! I love to talk about current events, politics and religion. I enjoy finding and re-purposing things. I love trying new foods and spend a disproportionate amount of time in the kitchen. I play clarinet and piano, but don't practice nearly enough. What else... I love to kayak, sail, bike and go hiking- especially if geocaching is involved. I am most comfortable in a forest, on a mountain or near a river and if i could wander around with a tent and a sleeping bag for the rest of my life i think i would be perfectly content.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies? Nothing with excessive violence or foul language. Books? I'm always reading one. Music? All of it. I guess i have my preferences but if you really want to know you'll have to go on a road trip with me :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
a few years ago i was in a city about two hours from my own for a conference. late one night i was sitting outside of my hotel feeling really down when a stranger stopped to ask if i was okay. he sat and talked with me for over an hour and then left to go inside. another time when I was lost in England a man got off his train and waited until the next one came along just to help me find my way. although i don't keep in touch with these people i will never forget them or their inspiring examples kindness.
