I love seeing live music, especially indie and hip hop. I make clothes and I like to draw and make collages and postcards.

I love contemporary art and photography and read graphic novels and regular novels...ps I am sort of a librarian.

I am having a blast traveling a ton and meeting the best peeps.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like showing people where the 2nd hand shops are and where to see good bands play!

I first surfed in Colombia, but just for a coffee and gallery visit cos I was scared. No need!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far cs showed me a secret gallery in Bogota, has saved my life at the last minute in Ottawa, given me some of my fave people in Montreal, and definitely inspired me to be open to meeting everybody!

Interests

I make clothes and drawings, and I like cutting hair (often of other travelers, in a park by a train station somewhere...). I love going to see indie and electro bands play. Obviously traveling is my favourite thing ever.

I love Dave Eggers. David Sedaris, Margaret Atwood, Nicole Krauss, Oscar Junot, Somerset Maugham, Barbara Kingsolver, Haruki Murakami...well I worked in libraries for years so the list goes on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ate steamed buns with friendly monks in Lhasa.

Swum at night on a warm Turkish beach with friendly phosphorescence.

Once I wam with the pink dolphins in the Bolivian pampas. They are more of a murky salmon colour so I was a bit disappointed.
