Hi there!
Me, in fact, are TWO people... WE are two german girls (both by the name of Katharina... funny hein?) who are traveling around central and south america for a couple of months.
We both finished our studies (me in Medical Engineering, Katha in Rducation and Sports) and were working in a pedagogical outdoor-camp with kids and adolescents before starting our travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We'd love to meet local people in the countries we visite, improve our spanish and walk beside the touristic routes. We would like to live like locals and spend our time with new friends.

Interests

I (Kaddy) like dancing, singing, cooking, climbing, I absolutly love water and all kind of watersports, horsebackriding, but also just hanging around, talking to people or reading a good book. Also I'm very interested in other cultures and languages and want to learn as much as I can .
Katha adores to be outside, swimming, hiking, climbing or just laying in the grass or on the beach with a good book or some music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I adore the Harry Potter and Hunger Games Books, but also historical novels and comedy stuff. I dont really have a favorite music, I like almost everything from hip hop, R&B, house, latin music, Rock, Pop and classic piano music. Also I particularly like a cappella music as I love to sing with friends myself!
My favorite movies are Forest Gump, the Star Trek Films (no, not only the new ones), the Hobbit trilogy and the Harry Potter and Hunger games Movies.

Katha likes romantic and action stuff for books and movies. Her favorites are the Lord of the Ring Films and Pitch Perfect. She prefers Pop, Rock and Soundtrack-music and tries hard to getting used to my sining^^

Teach, Learn, Share

We both want to learn spanish! Also I'm interested in dancing and Yoga and would like to learn more! I'd like to learn how to cook traditional dishes of every country/City/region.
Both of us love the water, so if you can teach us maybe how to surf or sail or take us to cool places like beaches, waterfalls, rivers or lakes, that would be amazing! But also we are fond of every kind of cool landscape, nice woods, mysticals mountains and beautiful cities with a great nightlife.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In Germany, I'm already giving singing lessons to adolescents in summercamps, I can also teach you some basics for playing the piano and could cook for all of us.
