ABOUT ME

We are two ladies who come from the Atlantic Region of Canada. We grew up outside of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and are heading to start a big adventure beginning in Sydney, Australia on December 29, 2010!!!

Hey Jess here, I am currently finishing my Business Degree at the University of Prince Edward Island after 5 long years of studying. I have worked in the service industry as a waitress for almost 8 years meeting people from all over the world who travel to our beautiful province. I have heard so much from all their experiences that I can't wait to go on this adventure with Emma. I have also bartended in festivals and events here on PEI and I know how to make people have a good time. I am excited to see how Aussies live it up on your side of the world!! Emma and I have been best friends since junior high and I am SUPER excited to be traveling with such an awesome lady! Now here is Emma....

G'day Mates!! :P Welllllllll...2 years ago, I moved to Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) where I followed my passion in creativity and completed an esthetics and cosmetics course. Near the end of my course, I obtained the best job of my life with M.A.C. Cosmetics. I worked with M.A.C. for a year and hope to work with this company in Australia to see differences in trends and perspectives in my field. The reason for leaving my favorite job ever...is to travel the world which begins with Australia. I figure I should get this travelling bug out of me, before going to university in the future. Considering I bought books and researched straight out of high school to go, I can't believe it's actually happening...now...!!!!!!!!!

We are SO looking forward to seeing the complete other side of the world, meeting people from all different cultures and backgrounds from around the world, and having the time of our lives!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are planning to travel around in Australia/New Zealand/Fiji...etc??, however, if we happen to find a pad, we will definitely be offering for surfers! Such a great opportunity to meet people!

Also, we'll be posting once we're back home in Canada for any surfers needing a place to stay!!

Well, considering we grew up on an Island, loooooovvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeee the BEACH!, so you'll most likely find us there everyday!; music in any way, shape or form; travelling, obviously; partying..."we're here for a good time, not a long time!!!!"; bartending/serving; a good book; and keeping in touch with life long friends.
