ABOUT ME

Ohmy!
Well, I am very friendly and talkative, outgoing and energetic. I love to meet new people and try new things.

I am interested in all things homemade and homegrown (I am a farm girl at heart). I am a yoga instructor, and feminist, and I am super interested in midwifery and doula-ing. Right now I'm writing a Thesis on the politics of knitting!

I LOVE Canada and have lived in and/or traveled much of it. I have also traveled much of Europe and various other scattered countries.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live life to the fullest, but at the same time, I appreciate and try to slow down.
I try to enact my politics in my everyday life.

My CouchSurfing experiences have been AMAZING! It's such a great way to meet such interesting and friendly people and I also love how it allows me to quickly get to know a place from a more local perspective!

Interests

Right now gardening has firmly established itself at the top of my list as I am currently converting some backyard space into a vegetable and herb garden!
I also enjoy knitting, cooking and baking, reading, yoga, biking, dancing, camping, hiking, and of course spending time with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once hitch-hiked from England to Latvia. It was the week of a lifetime!
