CURRENT MISSION

Currently in Toulouse, France, completing my final year of my studies. I am trying to enjoy and travel as much as possible while in Europe.

ABOUT ME

I am 23 years old and I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia (in Canada). My boyfriend is 27. We met while I was au pairing in Alsace. He is from Basel, Switzerland. I spent a year travelling in Australia when I was 18 years old and than spent a year in France as an aupair at 19. I am now 23 and I have ventured back out of my bubble world in Canada. It feels amazing to be away and have a change. I absolutely love travelling, learning new languages and being apart of different cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

The way i live my life as corny as it sounds is truly to its fullest. I have a positive attitude to just abot everything in life. Quotes make me happy and I just about live by every life quote there is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had one experience, as I never heard about this wonderful site until late in my travels... However I couch surfed in Amsterdam last year and it was just wonderful. My friend and I stayed in a house with two guys and we had a lovely time. We made dinners together, i was taught how to play a song on the guitar and spent alot of time together. Its crazy this experience because people become so close to you in such a short time and then you have to leave. However I believe this is such an incredible experience for anyone looking to travel

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba dived the great barrier reef, took a gondola ride in the grand canal of venice, skydived over Misson Beach, white water rafted in Tully River, walked through the oldest rainforest in the world the Daintee, seen the largest falls in europe the Rhine Falls, cruised the whitsundays, 4wheeled through Fraser Island, paddleboarded in 1770, surfed in byron bay, climbed the eiffel tower, camped in the swiss alps, witnessed the famous french christmas markets, threw a penny in the trevi fountain, parasailed in Mexico, jeeped across all of Barbados, repelled into a cave and swam in Mexico, floated down the amsterdam canal, visited the roman baths (in bath), saw the changing of the guards in london.
