ABOUT ME

I did not have any dreams of exploring new cultures or meeting people from all over the world until I completed my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering in Turkey. Maybe out of "We don't choose the things we believe in, they choose us", I ended up in Germany (Stutgart) for my master study where I met lots of people from many countries with diferent points of view of the world and life.

I believe living abroad changes people so much, that you never think the same way again. That might be resulting from the fact that cultural exchange is an important factor for personal evolution.

So, my main motivation for participating in CS is to be able to continue this evolution process :) Another thing is after having met so many people from different countries, I was surprised how little people know about my country. So, introducing my country is my another motivation for CS.

Since almost two years I live in Luxembourg where I am doing my PhD. This little country, about which people know very little, is a great place to get to know people from all over the world and broaden your horizons.

Finally I realized it is my time to be a part of CS family and share all interesting and nice experiences with the other members of the family ;)

Interests

Languages_trying to learn french slowed down the learning process though :)

Sports_cycling, running, basketball, volleyball. my next objective is to run half marathon in Luxembourg in 2013.

Arts_drawing, painting.

Dance & rhythm_i like to dance salsa, i like to move randomly to the rhythm of any music.. I did tap dancing for more than a year.

Others_ with the new guitar I bought, I will try to fulfil my need for playing an instrument finally! My final goal is to be able to play an accordion.
I love to spend time with my nieces who remind me that keeping the soul of a child is as important as becoming an adult.
