About Me
💃🏽🌕🌞🌊🏔️🌈🏋🏽♀️🛼🚴♀️🐱🌿🌸🌻🍄🏳️🌈
Hi! I’m Candela 🌻
I’m a curious, easy-going traveler from Argentina who loves connecting with people, learning about local culture and sharing good conversations. I work in hospitality, so I’m used to creating welcoming spaces and making people feel at home.
I’m very active – I bike everywhere, swim, climb and train regularly – but I also enjoy slowing down, cooking together, and long chats over coffee or ginger beer.
I’m respectful, tidy, and independent, but also love helping out, sharing tips from my travels, or just hanging out if you’re up for it.
Looking forward to meeting new people and creating great memories together ✨
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, traveling is much more than moving from one place to another – it’s about people, stories, and shared experiences. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to connect with locals, discover places through their eyes, and create memories that no guidebook can offer.
I’m here to exchange kindness, learn from different cultures, and hopefully make friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is The Lion King
I like to read about psychology and astrology
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 23, I quit my job and moved to a tiny town in the northeast of Brazil. I didn’t speak Portuguese, didn’t know anyone, and had no idea what to expect — how could I? I had never been there. I relied entirely on myself, found a job, made friends, picked up some of the language, and learned just how far I could go.
Now, at 29, I’ve already moved countries two more times (and I’m planning a third!). I feel unstoppable. Oh, and the best part of Brazil? Spending my days off swimming with wild dolphins. 🐬✨
