About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live my life. Be myself. Do what only I can do. See what only I can see. Be what only I can be.

ABOUT ME
Traveling in California.
Rambler. Physically and verbally, mentally perhaps. I'm on a trip. Trying to find passion, a place to explore and park myself for a little while, maybe even find a new job. Love traveling, but hey who doesn't (besides my mom, who actually couch surfed with me once!) I love eating. Food mostly, especially new stuff. I dig learning, about things that I find interesting, not so much typical school subjects. I'm athletic and adventurous, maybe even artsy if the mood strikes. I like people for the most part, but that's very conditional of course, not really the mean ones or overly arrogant, or sexist and etc :) but sometimes I try to work on the unconditional love thing...I think people really do like me, deep down.
Let's go sniff some flowers, eat some weeds and climb some trees. Or whatever other fun adventure you have in mind! Jump off big rocks into water?

PHILOSOPHY

I am here to love, to learn, to experience, to see, to grow to know. Nature is what is pure to me. Especially the parts least touched by us humans.
This is the only life we get. It deserves a conscious effort. Can't live it for anyone else. Find it. Live it! Sometimes looking inside ourselves is the hardest part. But in there, is our heart!
I painted "Kindness is Power" on a piece of pretty wood I got from the thrift store. I believe that...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to meet up with fellow surfers when they come into town to hike, eat, hear each others' stories. When I wanna, I attend mixers and CS events. I share my house with people I've never met and surf the same.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First surfing experience was in New Zealand with 3 different, amazing hosts, actually 4 if you count the all Czech house(like 10 flatmates)in Queenstown where the 6 of us travel companions all slept in one full size bed! Unbeatable times at each place, from the food, the fun, and the camaraderie. Since, I hosted in Denver and surfed through NM, TX, UT, OK, TN...and took my mom on her first surf in Mobile, Al!

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

Although I am not musically inclined, I love hearing it live...especially guitars and vocals around campfires!
Books... Be Here Now, Getting Stoned with Savages, Sing You Home, Eat Pray Love...and Into the Wild...these people inspire me, draw me in, and I feel there is a common thread...a spark.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

©I've jumped head first off a bridge in New Zealand with a bungee around my ankle

©Scuba'd in the other world of under waterness inThailand

©Caught a squid with a gigger thingy on a looong line in Vietnam

©Been in awe of wild tigers, elephants, and rhinos in Nepal and sunrise on Himalayas

©Camel safari'd and slept under the stars on a sand dune in the Thar desert, India

©Hang glided with the birds in Tennessee

©Went cave tubing and glow worm gazing in NZ

Life. Simply put, the fact that I am alive, truly living. First one of my family to complete a college degree! Moved halfway across my country to a new state to live alone, with no roommates, for an internship(i knew 4 people in the state). Learning my independance and abilities. Once I helped pull a lady out of the sand at Virginia Beach, when she had sank almost up to her waist, waving her arms above her head, yelling for help, I was the first one to assist...someone's hero for the day =)

Teach, Learn, Share

Let's talk travel. Adventure. Nature. Plants and flowers. Earth. Existence. Infinity and beyond. Combine all that with delicious food and craft beer!
I feel I am a searcher. A wanderer. Aren't we all looking for something? If not, should we be? I like sharing stories, ideas, opinions.
I can teach basic juggling and hopefully make you laugh.
