ABOUT ME

Think I was born with the travel bug, if not, into it. Love to see the world and can not get enough. I grew up mainly in the Middle East due to dads job. 'Maybe this is where it started - i fell in love with the desert. Went to London for Uni and stayed in the UK for 10 years. Met my boyfriend and we decided that we'd had enough of London weather and prices so planning to relocate to Sydney. On the way we wanted to see the world so saved hard and currently taking 18 months to travel Southern Africa and South America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have just been surfing myself whilst travelling through S. America - namely Brazil so far. It will then be our turn to open our new doors in Sydney.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only just joined couch surfing so not got too much experience. We have been couchsurfing throughout Brazil mainly in the big cities and it has really made our trip. We have been able to go off the tourist trail and do things we wouldn´t normally have done or known. But the best thing of all has been the people we have met. They have been so awesome and we really have taken away friends for life.

Interests

Love to party, enjoy water sports and anything with some adrenaline. Enjoy scuba diving and qualified and worked when younger as a Dive Master. Love to travel and hike around beautiful scenery. Also interested in conservation and the environment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like historical novels so that along with an exciting story you also feel that you learn a bit from the past. (Phillipa Gregory, Wilbur Smith, Alexander Dumas)
Like most films but esp. comedy and thrillers - just watched Hangover which was pretty funny.
Like pretty much all music but tend to rave to electronic beats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Sardine Run in South Africa. Whales, Dolphins, Birds and Sharks by the hundreds. It was truly incredible.
