About Me
ABOUT ME
Wow. Were to start. I'm Marina, i'm a very social person. Travelling is really my passion, Im just not happy if I have to go without travelling for too long. Perhaps it's cause my mom worked as a flight attendant when I was a baby so we travelled a lot and I guess it just stuck with me ever since. I was born in Miami but moved to the north of Sweden when I was five and have lived here ever since.
I'm 26 and I currently study Human Rights at Uppsala university, I find it really fascinating to learn about how the world around us works and how countries and international relations are established. I believe that experiencing different people and cultures is probably the most rewarding and important thing you can do in life. Everyone should try it.
I love to meet people, Im very outgoing and I have an easy time talking to anyone. I never say no to a party or a beer. I also love music, literature and art.
Overall i'm a easygoing person who just enjoys meeting new people and having fun. I truly believe that openmindness is one of the best qualities a person can have, I mean, if you just stick to what you know, how are you ever supposed to develop as a person?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had my first couchsurfing experience with Aarti in Mumbai. It was so great, I had a place to sleep and at the same time I meet a new friend.
I haven't hosted yet since i've been moving around a lot lately, but I'm hoping to be able to in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Heard about this through some british guys I meet in Miami, I thought it sounded great and would love to host people on my couch and stay at others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I stayed in a really small redneck village in West Virginia for a year when I was 16. It was so completely different from what I'm used to and it was amazing to experience it.
The contrast that is India.
