ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people all over the world. My dream is to be skipper of a boat that takes persons to beautiful places. I owned my own marketing business for 20 years. I love to have a good time and I love when the people I am with are having a good time too. I like to drink, but I do not usually have more than a few drinks. I don't like to get drunk. I have never smoked and I do not do drugs. I believe that you can have a great time without excess drinking or drugs. When you come to visit me, I will have a great time if I know you are having a great time. And I will do all I can to show you a good time. I am a good listener.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe very strongly in doing all we can to help each other. I believe that attitude is everything. I try to always look at the bright side of every situation. I love to laugh, smile and be welcoming to everyone I meet. I don't like to walk down the street and not say hello to people or be friendly if at all possible. I will always talk to a safe stranger and try to reduce the distance between us. I find strength in a positive, upbeat attitude. I owned my own marketing business for 20 years. In that capacity, I have been able to help employees and contribute to the overall well-being of others by helping to create products and services to make their lives easier. I welcome the opportunity to host couch-surfers and be a couch surfer.

I participate by welcoming people into my home and staying in other homes around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Each year, I offer my home to arriving graduate students at the University of Wisconsin, Madison from all over the world. I have helped many of them find housing and get oriented in their new home. I have not as yet been a couch surfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever seen is flowing lava in Hawaii. It is very beautiful. Also, high alpine blue lakes that shimmer and are teaming with trout. Also, alpine beauty of the high mountains. Most amazing thing I have ever done is travel to Alaska from Milwaukee, WI by myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy teaching immensely. I like to teach others something that was once difficult for me to understand. I like to make learning fun and easy. I could teach dancing, how to travel less expensively, marketing and sales, minor home repairs,
