ABOUT ME

My wife and I live near Branson. We have a guest bedroom, but currently have a roommate. We have couch space though.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all Christians, which is evident through the themes of most of our songs. We aren't out to try and make people change, we just want people to have a life changing experience, to truly feel God's goodness, not the so-called 'religion' that has been shoved down people's throats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though new to the CS project, we are not strangers to sharing our couches, and all of us have opened up our homes to other performers and musicians in the past, as well as been graciously received into many homes as well. As we are traveling more, the need for this is becoming more pressing, and I heard from a friend about CS, and decided to surf on by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Official "couchsurfing.org" experience is none, but not a newcomer to the giving or receiving end of sharing a couch. Most recently, we were fortunate enough to stay with a wonderful elderly couple in Bethany MO. They didn't just open a couch, they opened all their spare rooms, even partitioned off rooms with blankets to make sure everyone was comfortable and had a sense of privacy. We had more food than we could even think of eating. I've never felt more welcomed in someone else's house, not even when visiting family! They are the best example of making someone feel at home I've ever seen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, there are 4 of us in the band, plus spouses & other crew, so we all have different tastes, but we all like stuff that makes you want to rock out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Played at Release The Fire, opening for Brian "Head" Welch, and got to hang out and visit with him for probably 3 or 4 hours after, just chilling. He's probably the coolest professional musician I've ever met. Can't wait to do it again sometime!

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning about music, art, juggling, any type of performance related stuff. I'm also happy to teach those same things, share what I know with others.
