I am a new comer to the Netherlands - it has been only 1 year since I came here. I am working here as an engineer, and I am almost done with the boring professional life :) I need interesting, friendly and warm people from all over the world to enjoy more :)

I think this amazing poem, from a Turkish Sufi called Yunus Emre, can give you an idea why I'm on Couchsurfing.

Hard to choose.
Music: Folk music from all over the world. If I have to choose some, it would be "Dar Hejiroke" by Aynur & "Sevgi Kusun Kanadinda" by Hasret Gultekin & "Sleeping Lotus" by Joep Beving

Movies: "Masumiyet" by Zeki Demirkubuz. Trust me the director is the best.

Books: "Tutunamayanlar" by Oguz Atay, "Aylak Adam" by Yusut Atilgan, "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One of best Turkish poets, Nazim Hikmet, says..

"The most beautiful sea hasn’t been crossed yet.
The most beautiful child hasn’t grown up yet.
The most beautiful days we haven’t seen yet.
And the most beautiful words I wanted to tell you

Therefore, the amazing things have not been done yet.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can share with you my Turkish folk music repertoire - trust me it is pretty wide.
If you wanna try, we can also dance salsa and flamenco together.

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I can share my peaceful place (seriously, I think it is really peaceful) and also some things from Turkish cuisine. I dont trust my cooking skills that much, but so far nobody died, so you will be safe :)
