Merhaba! I am a medical doctor in Istanbul. I moved in here from Ankara and still being a tourist in Istanbul is my favourite activity i dont wanna miss that ever! I am a traveller and love travelling (not surprisingly:D). Meeting different cultures and knowing new people admire me. Moreover, the best and most enjoyful way to know a city is to be with a local person! Couchsurfing is a great solution for all of these. Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: National songs, Greek, Balkanian (Goran Bregovic) and Spanish. About Turkish songs; it usually changes in time but Grup Yorum, Duman, Zulfu Livaneli, Sezen Aksu, Kazım Koyuncu are persistent. Local Turkish songs “türkü” are also my irreplaceable!
Movies: Before Sunrise, Las lunos al sol (Mondays in Sun), Winter Sleep, Clockwork Orange.
Books: Difficult to choose.. Millenium Triology; every book of Murakami; Turkish writers Nermin Yıldırım, Ayşe Kulin, Zülfü Livaneli. Also i reveal weakness for old novels.

I am not a cook but i love eating Turkish dishes. All the world knows that we are lucky to have a delicious cuisine! Who eats well who knows good restaurants as well! 😂 Believe me about food😎 If you are willing to improve your Turkish or English, I wish to practice in these languages. Additionaly, I enjoy talking about mainly Turkish but also worldwide history and political aspects and sociological facts. Eventhough I dont have a perfect voice, I love singing and would be a pleasure to sing Turkish songs. The last thing, I can teach Turkish folk dance. SORRY NOT TO HOST.
