One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm on a world tour right now and I have experienced amazing things!

Up until now, I have explored 17 cities, 12 natural parks, 18 hostels, 8 CS houses, more than 40 beaches of Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. I have met tons of people and animals.

I jumped from the highest bungee jumping bridge (116m), saw 4000 seals together. I canoed in the Okavango Delta, had the chance to see a lion couple in their natural environment. I learned some Swahili, I volunteered, helped villages. I met a diamond smuggler, an African instructer of famous Turkish dogs, a prison interior designer, a believer that is fasting for 6 months in the temple.

I sat at a Christmas table for the first time in my life, I swam in the Zambezi river with crocodiles, I camped in a forest full of leopards, I ate crocodile, made my breakfast with ostrich eggs.

I lost 3 gopro cables, 1 power bank, 6 pairs of sunglasses, and 2 of my favourite shawls on the way. From skyway, highway, seaway and railway, I went 37,207 km so far.

I improved at playing pool, I learned how to surf, I learned to make coffee with a coffee machine, I learned yoga and meditation. I hate yoga, I love meditation.

I hiked mountains several times, I tasted tens of local beers, I watched penguins and dolphins, I learned to chew and throw away meat, I did river boarding, I swam at the edge of Victoria Falls and saw the valley from 104m high. I attended a Buddhist ceremony, blessed by a monk, watched ping-pong show in Bangkok (I regret), secretly get into a very luxury hotel and spent the night there. I learned how to ride a bike, I fell twice (one of them was because I was trying to eat an ice cream), I danced with hippies on the beach, hiked to a secret lagoon getting mud in my underwear.

I drank a mushroom shake, attacked by crabs, abused in a CS house, broke up with my boyfriend, fell in love like crazy, heard crazy voices of a wild forest, went to 'The Beach' and realised its not that great. I saw the weirdness of Royale Regime, stayed in a very traditional Hindu house, and read my book on a swing in their living room :)

I had sun stroke once, I got bitten by a strange bug, and lived with a very swollen finger for 5 days. I was almost crashed into a Kudu while driving.

We prayed into a microphone on a bus on a night drive with all the passengers, cleaned our shoes in the middle of the road because of a common disease. I learned how far away I should stay from a hippo, I get used to right hand side traffic, I get used to sleeping with bugs. I started to learn to love the world, all living things, and myself.

Enough? :)
