ABOUT ME

Originally from South Africa, I have lived in the United States since I was six - specifically in California and Nevada. Now my wife and I are finishing a year working in New Zealand and travelling our way back home before I start medical school. I love good food, getting outdoors and adventuring. I love traveling and hope to see and learn as much as I can about different places and cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling and am looking to get involved in the couch surfing community as a surfer, and hopefully once I have my own couch, as a host.

I love getting outside and seeing places, trying new foods, and new activities. Currently living in New Zealand I am doing lots of backpacking and ocean swimming. I also enjoy cooking and have a Thai, Mexican, and South African cookbook that I use frequently. As a Registered Nurse looking to attend medical school next year, I have an interest in health and what this looks like in different contexts - having worked in the USA and now in New Zealand.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies - I enjoy most things except Horror movies. I always love a good script or cinematography, but can also enjoy a good action or adventure film. Can't say I have a favorite movie.

Music - anything besides Country music. My current music selection includes a variety of music from bands like St. Lucia, Glass Animals, The National, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Lana del Rey, OneRepublic, Broods, etc...

Books - no favorite but I do enjoy the classics

Decided to pack up my life back in the United States and moved to New Zealand to experience a new place, with no job and place to live - and it has been a great adventure so far!
