ABOUT ME

The Skinny:
Do you ever wake up and ask yourself 'Who am I?' If someone were to ask me that.... Well, I am Dave! What more do you need to know? I have wanted to do a lot of traveling for a really long time and now my time has come! I have been in Europe for nearly a year now. I have had an amazing time and although I don't want it to end, I am looking forward to seeing my family and friends back home. I am easily distracted by the next exciting thing I see, so my plans change often. I am easy to get along with, I enjoy just about everything when I'm traveling. A trip to the supermarket can even be fun! I am a landscaper, an love to be outside. I wakesurf and snowboard, golf and play a little tennis (though not very well!). I really cherish the relationships I have with my family and friends as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Money.... you can always make more. Time is much much harder to make. I never seem to have a lot of cash around but I always seem to have enough to go somewhere and try new things and meet new people. I want to look back on my life and remember fondly all the great places I have been and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. No Regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to land a few places in the spring in France, Spain , Portugal and maybe Amsterdam. I am definately open to having someone crash at my place - it will almost be like traveling without having to leave home!! Plus I love my home and will be very happy to show somebody around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest I have yet to couchsurf through this website. However I have on occasion stayed at a friends friends who I had never met before and we always had a craicing good time. It is always so much fun getting to know someone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on a warm October morning in Split, Croatia. The white marble of the old city seemed to actually come alive. Sailed a tall ship on the west coast of Italy.
