ABOUT ME

What can I tell you about myself?

I am a college student (my mother says a career student). I am currently working on a degree to become an Environmental Technician. My goal is to relocate to Texas for work because that's where my heart is.

I am an extremely laid back, easy going person. I'm kind of a survivalist nut (you never know when you will have to be self reliant). I grew up in the country and I'm not afraid of hard work or dirty work ... "git r done".

I'm a bit of an odd duck, for lack of a better term. I can be the most extroverted person out there or I can be a total recluse. I enjoy meeting new people and trying out new things (went ice fishing for the first time this year and it was great).

I am a regular church person and I am active in my community through a therapy riding program. I used to be involved with Therapy Paws but when I moved north for school I had to leave my dogs behind with a good friend.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not sure what to put in here. I want to see everything, I want to try everything, I want to have memories to look back on and stories to tell.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've moved so much I'm always willing to explore my "hometown" with new people. Friends are something you can never have enough of. I live in a tiny apartment but I'm always willing to share my space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried couch surfing for the first time in 2010. I stayed with a great retired couple in Texas who showed me around and really got me to love Texas and the lifestyle there.

I felt like a dork when I asked the husband to stop the truck so I could take a picture of cactus's and REAL longhorn cows. He laughed but was nice enough to humor me.

兴趣

I don't know where to start here. Random road trips, camping under the stars, mud bogging, fishing, trying out those little diners that only the locals know about. I'm game for just about anything.

The most amazing thing that I have ever seen was several years ago when my friends little boy (age 8) shot a bumblebee with a paintball marker while the bumblebee was flying.

The most amazing thing I have done in my life might not seem amazing to anyone else but I trained my dog to ring a bell whenever he wanted to go out.

I'm one of those people who has lots of pointless knowledge. I really like camping, especially survival type camping trips. I make a mean poutine.

I would love to learn how to drive stick and shoot a bow someday.
