Hi! I'm Caoimhe, 23 years old from Ireland. I've just completed a master's in cognitive neuroscience in Maastricht, Netherlands. I then had no idea what to do with my life so now I'm travelling! A few things about me: I love travelling and being immersed in new cultures (especially if it involves food), I love exercise (running, dancing, football, yoga) meditation, reading, chilling with friends, partying with friends, cooking, sunny days (but also cold days because there's nothing better than being cozy), music, the sea and Christmas time.

I think it's great to get the chance to meet local people who know the place well and I get to learn some inside info and experience the local way of life. I also just think it's cool hanging out with people from different countries and finding the similarities and differences between out cultures. And usually you make a great friend out of it!

Música, películas y libros

It's hard to describe my music taste because I listen to nearly everything.... jazz, soul, rap, classical, indie.. the list goes on. My favourite books include a lot of Dan Brown, Harry Potter, Eragon, Under the Hawthorne Tree and so so many more. At the moment I am reading a lot of random books because I just exchange them at hostels so thats interesting!

The things that come to mind are the experiences from my current trip which include hiking Ijen volcano and seeing the blue flames, staying for a week in a small village in central Java and experiencing the local way of life, catching the slow boat from Thailand to Laos and the elephant sanctuary in Chiang mai
