ABOUT ME

I have just recently learned about couchsurfing.com when i was in boston, I had little money and was staying in the hostel. One of the clerks there just decided to take myself and a good friend home. we had a great time, great conversation and learned some awesome new drinking games. I was really surprised at how we were so well received and treated. It felt like we had been friends forever. That's when I decided I had to be a part of this project. When I am at sea I have a lot of time to just sit around and contemplate the purpose of life, and the only thing I can figure we are here for is to teach and be taught, smile and make others smile, and to take in as much as life will allow. I have always wanted to open a "drop-in center" or something of that nature, where the squatters and what not can grab a bite, shower, use the phone, receive mail, etc. etc. and just sit around and listen. You would be surprised at how knowledgeable these kids are! I am here to travel and meet good people, hopefully i can do the same for others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am finalizing my second divorce so I can't let anybody stay there, but I will soon have another residence where I will gladly host when i am not at sea. If I get to know you well enough, I will host when I am offshore.

I love all music, bust mostly punk, oi, ska, reggea, irish folk, old country, phsycobilly, rockabilly that kinda stuff.
My favorite movies are:Suburbia, Rock n' Roll High School, Rocky Horror, old kung fu movies, most "B" rated movies, almost every cult film I have seen and westerns.
Books: Classical lit. rox my sox! anything dickens. A good detective/thriller story will keep me up all night as well, I have a tendency to get lost in a book and lose hours.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen St. Elmo's fire, chased water spouts, been on jerry springer(but don't tell anybody, I was a silly teenager), slept in dumpsters, lived in million dollar houses, made the most beautiful daughter a man could wish for, hitchhiked from chicago to orlando in 2.5 days, saved a life or two. But the most amazing thing is....I am still here! :P
