Hi,
My name is Kasper, a chill 24-year-old from the Dutch lowlands. First of all, clearly I don't have any recommendations yet. First time I am actively using couchsurfing since I signed up over 5 years ago. I have hosted a couple of couchsurfers together with my brother, Simon.

Next week I am moving to Sweden for a 2-year master program at Stockholm University. Since the current housing situation in SH has not called for a viable sleeping solution, I was hoping to spend the first night / few nights at someone who has some leftover corner in their house where I could roll out my sleeping mat from where I can search for something more long-term.

NOTE: Please note that I don't see couch surfing as a free accommodation option. I am really hoping to make some local friends here since I will be in SH for at least 2 years and don't know anyone. I am genuinely interested in spending time, cooking together. + I can fix your bike if needed ;)

Academically speaking, I majored in social anthropology, did an exchange semester in Malmö, spent 3 months in India for thesis research and did some more freestyle traveling in China and Vietnam. All and all really nice, but hoping to find a more durable environment in Sweden.
