ABOUT ME

My friends would say that I am a well rounded individual. I have been across Canada many times and have learned so many things from all sorts of people. I tell really long stories for those enthusiastic to listen. I play the banjo very well. I am an amazing dancer, a spinner at heart. I am very personable and respectful. Fully responsible for my actions and strive for perfection. In service to humanity with a hand to lend.

Music fills my spirit. I love playing music with people and Dancing with friends. I am associated with several music festivals in the east coast, Evolve, Folly Fest, Acres of Jam, etc. I help build stages, parking, cleanup, advertise, etc. I love Meeting new friends and sharing. I am a professional wood carver using only hand tools. I love learning new things.

well, my first hitch hiking adventure was around Cape Breton, which lasted 2 weeks. my first night i spent on top of Marble Mountain. Marble Mountain is an giant abandoned marble quarry. It faces the Bras d'Or Lake, which is a salt water lake in the middle of Cape Breton. Sitting on top of that sparkling white quarry looking over the many islands in the lake and the dozens of bald eagles flying over head is one of my fondest memories.

Meeting Fred Penner. Fred Penner was playing at Evolve last year. I was backstage and he was up soon, so I went over and chatted with him for a little while. I gave him one of my Love Nut necklaces, which are black walnuts that wash up on the shore of Kettle Point, a native reserve in southwestern Ontario. they have a natural heart shape in the middle and I make them into necklaces. he wore it the hole weekend.

There are so many experiences that i have felt true joy and have given joy to others. I am currently writing a book.
